Everyone welcome

Non eu residents

VISA application

Are you from outside the Europinion Union and do you want to follow our courses? No problem! We have a lot of different nationalities in our classes every year, and this is also what makes our Academy unique.

To follow a course as a non EU resident, you need a visa. Depending on the lenght of the course that you want to follow, you have different visas. There are 2 options: a normal Visa (longer than 90 days), and a tourist Visa (max. 90 days). When you apply at the embassy or consulate, they will also guide you in which type of visa you need.

Procedure VISA

You must apply for a visa in person at the Belgian embassy or consulate in your country of residence. In a personal interview, you will have to justify why you want to come to Belgium.

The procedure you must follow depends on;

  • your nationality

  • the duration of your stay, and the purpose of your stay in Belgium.

If you apply for a tourist visa (maximum 90 days), in certain countries it is possible that your visa application will be processed by another Schengen country with which Belgium has concluded a representation agreement. This visa can be used for;

  • tourist visit

  • a visit to family or friends

  • cultural or sporting event

  • business trip

  • short internship

  • transit through the Schengen area

Long-stay visa applications (more than 90 days) cannot be processed in representation, but must always be submitted to the competent Belgian embassy or consulate. If there is no Belgian embassy or consulate in your country of residence, you should contact the Belgian embassy or consulate competent for your place of residence. This is usually located in one of the neighbouring countries.

Procedure of the academy

The first stage of the application procedure is an interview with the Director of the MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy Brussels, Dries Welsch. This interview is an opportunity to have a first contact with MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY Brussels and to answer our questions and yours. The director will decide whether MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy Brussels is the right place for you and whether the course you have chosen is right for you.

If you are selected, a deposit will be requested to reserve your place in the MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy Brussels.

Applying for a visa is no quick process. Keep in mind that deciding whether you get a visa can take 2 to 6 months. Plan your visit to the embassy well in advance so that you can start your chosen course in time.

If you got your visa, we need proof of the official decision that your visa is accepted. If we receive this document or mail, you can rest assured that your registration is in order and you can enjoy our courses in the MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy Brussels!
